THE MUNICIPALITY OF LEIDEN FURTHER EXPANDS TAX ENFORCEMENT WITH A SECOND SCAN CAR FROM BRICKYARD

A scan car for tax enforcement has been operating in the municipality of Leiden since 2017. Brickyard recently delivered the second scan car to the municipality of Leiden.

The second scan car was necessary due to the expansion of the paid parking zone. There was high parking pressure on the edge of the current paid parking zone. By introducing paid parking, the municipality of Leiden reduces parking pressure.

Brickyard supplied the scanning unit from ARVOO Imaging Products BV for this assignment. In addition, Brickyard supplies software developed entirely in-house for querying the geo-survey, the RDW and the NPR. With this solution, Brickyard offers the municipality of Leiden an efficient method for the enforcement of paid parking (fiscal parking) with a high reliability and sufficient capacity for the entire paid parking zone.
