Camera enforcement ensures ‘less nuisance in Huygenskwartier’

At the end of 2018, Brickyard installed enforcement cameras at the Huygenskwartier in the municipality of Leidschendam-Voorburg. The purpose of the cameras was to keep motorists and scooter riders out of the pedestrian area in the center of Voorburg – the Huygenskwartier. A year later, the municipality has noted that a successful change in behavior has taken place and that the number of mopeds in the center has decreased by approximately 70%.
