The municipality\u2019s main shopping district will be emission-free as of January 1, 2025.<\/strong>
In doing so, the municipality contributes to a more sustainable and cleaner city. Enforcement will be carried out using cameras installed by Brickyard. Official enforcement will begin in June, following a transition period to allow everyone time to adapt to the new situation.<\/p>\n

From now on, store deliveries within this zone will be carried out using clean vehicles.<\/strong>
This represents a major change for local businesses. The transitional arrangement gives entrepreneurs the opportunity to apply for exemptions during a designated period.<\/p>\n

Much of Amersfoort\u2019s city center is already low-traffic,<\/strong>
and this will be expanded in 2027. This reduces noise pollution and emissions in the area. It\u2019s not only an environmental measure, but also a way to make the city more pleasant and healthier for everyone.<\/p>\n
