RTL News recently paid attention to the measures that the Municipality of Vijfheerenlanden has taken to tackle the problem of cut-through traffic.<\/em><\/p>\n

As cut-through traffic between Vianen and Lexmond increased, not only the quality of life, but also the accessibility of emergency services was compromised. In response, the municipality has implemented an advanced solution in collaboration with Brickyard: ANPR cameras linked to enforcement software. This technology makes it possible to effectively enforce entry bans during the evening rush hour.<\/p>\n

Our camera enforcement system<\/a>, which will be operational on July 1, will reduce cut-through traffic. Drivers who use the shortcuts between Vianen and Lexmond without an exemption will receive a fine.<\/p>\n
