Camera parking in Tiel: Customer friendly and post-paid

The city of Tiel wants to convert the parking lot ‘Burense Poort’ into an open, spacious, accessible and customer friendly parking lot with a modern system for post-paid parking. The city council prefers a system without barriers and without too much roadwork.

No enforcement needed on site

TMC offers Minipark camera parkering; a simple parking system that only uses ANPR cameras and payment terminals. Anyone can enter and exit the parking area freely, the ANPR cameras will check whether people have paid. The system creates a daily list of offenders in a back-office system. A authorized city enforcement agent can approve the entire list, so enforcement on site becomes unnecessary.

Discount card for customers of Albert Heijn

The Albert Heijn supermarket wants to have a discount system which works with discount cards featuring a QR code. Albert Heijn will share distribute these cards to its customers. By presenting the card at a payment terminal, visitors get a discount on their parking fees. All payment terminals are able to work with the discount card, so that visitors can park and pay anywhere on the big Albert Heijn parking lot.

Also for mobile phone parking

Minipark camera parking is linked to NPR, so mobile phone parking (for example with Yellowbrick) on site will also be possible.
